Turn the control wheel clockwise until the spoilers are in the fully down position.

 (a)  
Make sure the spoilers are in the fully down position when the control wheel is 5 |3 degrees counterclockwise.

Continue to turn the control wheel to 87 degrees clockwise.

 (a)  
Make sure that the spoiler No. 7 is up 38 |2 degrees.

 (4)  
Turn the control wheel counterclockwise until the spoilers are in the fully down position.

 (a)  
Make sure the spoilers are in the fully down position when the control wheel is 5 |3 degrees clockwise.

Move the control wheel to the neutral position.

 (6)  
Move the speed brake lever aft until the spoiler No. 2 is up 15 |1 degrees.

 (a)  
Make sure that the spoilers No. 3, 6 and 7 align with each other and with the spoiler No. 2 in the limit of |0.5 degrees.

Move the speed brake lever to the UP position.

 (a)  
Make sure that the spoiler No. 2 is up 39 |3 degrees.

 (b)  
Make sure that the spoiler No. 7 aligns with the spoiler No. 2 in the limit of |2 degrees.

 (c)  
Make sure the spoiler No. 7 is up a minimum of 36 degrees.

 (8)  Do this test to make sure the spoiler mixer is the correct part (IPC 26-61-41-01).
 NOTE: If the spoiler mixer does not pass this test, make sure you
____ have the correct part number spoiler mixer installed.
 (a)  
Move the speed brake lever to flight detent.

 (b)  
Turn the control wheel to the fully counterclockwise position and hold.

 (c)  
Make sure that the right flight spoilers 6 and 7 are 7.5 degrees or less from the full down position.

 (d)  
Turn the control wheel to the fully clockwise position and hold.

 (e)  
Make sure that the left flight spoilers 2 and 3 are 7.5 degrees or less from the full down position.

 F.
Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

Move the speed brake lever to the DOWN position to lower the spoilers.

Remove the systems A and B hydraulic power (AMM 27-61-00/201).

Remove the protractor and the protractor mount from the captain's control wheel.

Remove the control surface protractors and the stands from the spoilers.

 (2)  S 035-024Use the turnbuckles to loosen the cables SBA and SBB.
 (3)  S 725-025Apply a torque of 120 |10 pound-inches clockwise to the no-back output shaft on the spoiler ratio changer (Fig. 501). (a) Make sure the speed brake input quadrant moves a maximum of 2 degrees (0.125 inch at the radius of the cable groove on the input quadrant).
