Connect the spring cartridge to the lower lever: 1) Make sure the drain holes on the spring cartridge are down. 2) Make sure the antirotation fork is on the lower side of the
lower lever. 3) Install the bolt, spacer, washer and nut to attach the spring cartridge to the lower lever. 4) Install the cotter pin in the nut.

Remove the rig pins A/S-3 and A/S-4.

(4) Adjust the wing spoiler cables (WSA1, WSA2, WSB1, and WSB2):
NOTE: The cables WSA1 and WSB1 control the flight spoilers No. 2
____ and 7. The cables WSA2 and WSB2 control the flight spoilers No. 3 and 6.
(a)
Move the speed brake lever to the DOWN position.
(b)
If you installed new wing spoiler cables WSA1, WSA2, WSB1 or WSB2, adjust the tension (Fig. 503): 1) Use the turnbuckles to tighten the cables to two times the
tension shown in table 1 on Fig. 501. 2) Move the aileron control system through 20 full cycles.
NOTE: The spoiler mixer must be installed to move the
____
cables.
3) Move the speed brake lever to the UP position. 4) Move the aileron control system through 20 full cycles. 5) Move the speed brake lever to the DOWN position.
(c)
Make sure the aileron control system is in the neutral position.
(d)
Install the rig pin A/S-14 in the spoiler mixer (Fig. 503).
(e)
Install the rig pin S/B-2 in the ratio changer.
(f)
Make sure you can easily install the rig pins A/S-8 and A/S-9 in the spoiler actuator quadrants on the left wing (Fig. 504).
(g)
Make sure you can easily install the rig pins A/S-10 and A/S-11 in the spoiler actuator quadrants on the right wing (Fig. 504).
(h)
Make sure the tension in the cables is in the limit of 15 pounds of the tension shown in Fig. 501.
(i)
If you cannot easily install the rig pins, if the tension is not in the limits, or if you installed new cables, adjust the cable tension: 1) Use the turnbuckles to adjust the tension in the cables to
