Install the hydraulic unions in the actuator:
(a)
Remove the caps from the hydraulic ports on the actuator.
(b)
Apply a thin layer of the hydraulic fluid or the assembly lube on the O-rings.
(c)
Install the O-rings and the unions in the hydraulic ports.

Install the ground spoiler actuator:
(a)
Put the actuator in its position in the airplane.
(b)
Install the two bolts with the heads outboard.

Install the washer and nut on the bolt that attaches the piston rod end to the idler crank. 1) Tighten the nut to 290-410 pound-inches.

Install the washer and nut on the bolt that attaches the actuator to the structure. 1) Tighten the nut to 630-950 pound-inches.

Make sure the hydraulic pressure in system A is released (Ref 27-62-00/201).

Remove the caps from the hydraulic tubes.
(c)
