A. There is one task in this procedure, an inspection of the speed brake lever actuator. To do the inspection you measure the diameters of the bolts, bearing and bracket that attach the actuator to the structure.

Remove the speed brake lever actuator (Ref 27-62-31/401).

Examine the parts that attach the speed brake lever actuator for worn areas (Fig. 601).

Remove the parts.
(b)
Measure the diameters of the parts.
(c)
Compare the dimensions you measured with the permitted dimensions shown in Fig. 601.
(d)
Replace the parts that are not in the tolerance.
(e)
Install the parts.

Install the speed brake lever actuator (Ref 27-62-31/401).
