 1.  General_______
 A.  There are two tasks in this procedure. There is a task for the removal and a task for the installation of the auto speed brake accessory module M980. The module is installed on the E3-2 rack in the electronic compartment.

Install the module on the E3-2 rack (AMM 20-10-07/201).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

 (a)  
P6-2 Panel
 1) AUTO SPEED BRAKE

 (3)  Do the test of the indicator circuits for the speed brake lever actuator (Ref 27-62-00/501).

 GROUND SPOILER CONTROL VALVE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Procedure

 (1)  
Make sure the hydraulic pressure in system A is released (Ref 27-62-00/201).

 S 024-003

 (2)  
Remove the control valve (Fig. 401).

 (a)  
Remove the bolt that attaches the control rod to the valve lever.

 (b)  
Disconnect the five hydraulic tubes from the control valve: 1) Put a container below the control valve to catch the

 hydraulic fluid. 2) Disconnect the hydraulic tubes from the control valve. 3) Install the caps on the hydraulic tubes.

 (c)  
Remove the four bolts that attach the control valve to the bracket.

 (d)  
Remove the control valve from the airplane.

 (e)  
Remove the reducers and the O-rings from the five hydraulic ports on the control valve.

 (f)  
Install the caps on the hydraulic ports.
