FLIGHT SPOILER - INSPECTION/CHECK

1. General_______
A. There is one task in this procedure, an inspection of the flight spoiler. To do the inspection, you measure the diameters of the bolts, bushings and bearings that attach the spoiler panel to the structure.

(1)
Remove the flight spoiler (AMM 27-61-11/401).
S 226-003
(2)
Examine the bolts, bushings and bearings for worn areas (Fig. 601):
(a)
Remove the parts.
(b)
Use a micrometer to measure the parts.
(c)
Compare the dimensions you measured with the permitted dimensions shown in Fig. 601.
(d)
Repair or replace the parts that are not in the tolerance.
(e)
Install the parts.
(3)
Install the flight spoiler (AMM 27-61-11/401).
