 2) Make a record of the position of the spoiler No. 2. 3) Make sure the spoiler No. 7 aligns with the spoiler No. 2 in the limit of |1 degree.
 (k)  
Move the speed brake control lever to the UP position.

 (l)  
Use the control surface protractors to make sure the spoilers are in the correct position: 1) Make sure the spoiler No. 2 is up 39 |3 degrees. 2) Make a record of the position of the No. 2 spoiler. 3) Make sure the spoiler No. 7 is up a minimum of 36 degrees. 4) Make sure the spoiler No. 7 aligns with the spoiler No. 2

 in the limit of |2 degrees. 5) Make sure the spoiler No. 3 aligns with the spoiler No. 2 in the limit of |0.25 inch. 6) Make sure the spoiler No. 6 aligns with the spoiler No. 7 in the limit of |0.25 inch.

 (m)  
Turn the captain's aileron control wheel 87 degrees counterclockwise from the neutral position: 1) Make sure the spoiler No. 2 is up 39 |3 degrees. 2) Make a record of the position of the spoiler No. 2. 3) Make sure the spoiler No. 7 is not in the fully down

 position.

 (n)  
Turn the captain's aileron control wheel 87 degrees clockwise from the neutral position: 1) Make sure the spoiler No. 7 is in the same position as the

 spoiler No. 2 was before in the limit of |1 degree. 2) Make sure the spoiler No. 2 is not in the fully down position.

 (o)  
Move the speed brake lever to the DOWN position.

Do a test of the friction at the speed brake lever:

 (a)  
Install the spring scale to the end of the speed brake lever.

 (b)  
Make sure the maximum force necessary to move the speed brake lever is in these limits: 1) From the DOWN to the FLIGHT position: 20 pounds

 A.  There is one task in this procedure, an inspection of the input rod for the spoiler ratio changer. To do the inspection, you measure the diameters of the clevis and the lockbolt that attach the input rod.
