1. General_______
A. There is one task in this procedure, an inspection of the No. 4 and 5 ground spoilers. To do the inspection you measure the diameters of the bolts, bushings, bearings and hinge fittings that attach the ground spoiler panels to the structure.

Procedure

(1)
Remove the ground spoiler (Ref 27-62-12/401).
S 226-003
(2)
Examine the bolts, bushings, bearings and hinge fittings for worn areas (Fig. 601):
(a)
Remove the parts.
(b)
Use a micrometer to measure the parts.
(c)
Compare the dimensions you measured with the permitted dimensions shown in Fig. 601.
(d)
Repair or replace the parts that are not in the tolerance.
(e)
Install the parts.
(3)
Install the ground spoiler (Ref 27-62-12/401).
