 A.  There are two tasks in this procedure. There is a task for the adjustment and a task for the functional test of the ground spoiler interlock valve.
 B.  The airplane must be on jacks during the adjustment and the functional test of the cable. The shock strut for the right main gear must be in the fully extended position.
 TASK 27-62-61-825-001
 2.  Ground Spoiler Interlock Valve Adjustment (Fig. 501)_________________________________________
 A.  Special Tools and Equipment
 (1)  Rig Pin (S/B-3) - 0.311 +0.000/-0.002 inch diameter, 6.70 +/-0.25 inches long (MS70207-11)
 NOTE: The rig pin is a part of the kit F70207-69, -78, or -83.

Procedure


 S 585-002
 (1)  
Lift the airplane with the jacks until the right main gear shock strut is fully extended (Ref 07-11-11/201).

 S 485-003

 (2)  
Make sure you can easily install the rig pin S/B-3 through the yoke of the interlock valve.

 S 825-004

 (3)  
If you cannot easily install the rig pin, adjust the speed brake interlock valve cable (Ref 27-62-51/501).

 (4)  
Remove the rig pin S/B-3.

 (5)
Do the functional test of the ground spoiler interlock valve.

Lower the airplane and remove the jacks from the airplane (Ref 07-11-11/201).

 (1)  
Lift the airplane with the jacks until the right main gear shock strut is fully extended (Ref 07-11-11/201).

 (2)  
Supply the electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

 (3)
Supply the system A hydraulic power (Ref 27-62-00/201).

Do the Functional Test

 (1)  
Move the speed brake lever to the UP position.

 (a)  
Make sure the ground spoilers do not move.


 S 865-013
 (2)  Release the air pressure in the shock strut for the right main landing gear.

 CAUTION:_______LIFT THE AXLE AT THE JACK PAD ON THE AXLE ONLY. IF NOT, YOU WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AXLE.
 (3)  
Install the jack below the jack pad on the right main gear axle (Ref 07-11-31/201).

 (4)  
Slowly lift the axle to compress the shock strut until the ground spoiler interlock valve opens.

 (a)  
Make sure the ground spoilers move to the fully extended position.
