 S 424-005
 (1)  
Install the airspeed switch:

 (a)  
Put the airspeed switch in the mounting bracket.

 (b)  
Install the mounting bolts.

 (c)  
Connect the electrical connector to the airspeed switch.

 (d)  
Connect the pitot and the static lines to the airspeed switch.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

 (a)  
P6 Panel
 1) FLAP LOAD RELIEF

 (3)  
AIRPLANES WITH EFIS; Do the leak check for the pitot static system (AMM 34-11-01/501).

 (4)  
AIRPLANES WITHOUT EFIS; Do the leak check for the pitot static system (AMM 34-11-00/501).

Do the test of the airspeed switch (Ref 27-51-89/501).

 FLAP LOAD LIMITER AIRSPEED SWITCHES - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

 1.  General
_______
 A.  There is one task in this procedure, a functional test of the flap load limiter airspeed switches.
 B.  The flap load limiter airspeed switches are installed in the lower nose compartment on the right side of the nose wheel well. You must do this procedure to make sure the airspeed switches operate after you install them.

 2.  Flap Load Limiter Airspeed Switches Functional Test
___________________________________________________
 A.  Standard Tools and Equipment
 (1)  
A vacuum source and barometer to measure a differential pressure of up to 1.5 inches of mercury to an accuracy of | 0.015 inch of mercury.

Prepare for the Test of the Airspeed Switches

 (1)  Supply the electrical power (Ref 24-22/00/201).
 S 865-002
 CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE PITOT-STATIC PROBE HEATERS ARE OFF DURING THE
_______ TEST. THE HEATERS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  Make sure the pitot-static probe heaters are off during the test.
 S 485-003
 CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE PITOT PRESSURE IS NOT LESS THAN THE PRESSURE IN
_______ THE STATIC LINES. MAKE SURE THE DIFFERENCE IN THE PRESSURE (DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE) IS NOT MORE THAN 10.00 INCHES OF MERCURY. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE PITOT-STATIC SYSTEM.
 (3)  Apply pressure to the pitot lines for the auxiliary pitot system (Ref 34-11-00/501).
