 0.62 inch (21.0 degrees).On 65-49970-25 and subsequent stabilizer trim actuators, and 65C34751 actuators (65-49970-13 thru -24 actuators with SB 27-1161), Do a check of brake slippage: 1) Apply 1650 pound-inches torque to the upstop of the
 jackscrew in both clockwise and counter-clockwise
 directions. 2) Make sure that no slippage of the auxiliary brake occurs. 3) If slippage occurs in either direction, adjust the
 auxiliary brake by doing the following: a) Remove the lockwire from the lower stop and the umbrella assembly (Fig. 505). b) Remove the fasteners from the lower stop, the umbrella assembly, and the cover plate.
 c)  Lift the lower stop, the cap, the packing, the umbrella, and the auxiliary brake cover up the jackscrew. Use lockwire to hold parts out of the way to allow access to the auxiliary brake assembly.
 CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU PROTECT THE PACKING FROM DAMAGE WHILE
_______ SLIDING IT UP THE JACKSCREW THREADS. TEFLON TAPE OR A PLASTIC SLEEVE CAN BE PLACED OVER THE THREADS TO PROTECT THE PACKING FROM DAMAGE. IF THE PACKING IS DAMAGED, MOISTURE CAN ENTER THE BALLSCREW ACTUATOR AND CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
 d) Remove the lockwire from the stator assembly nut.

 e)  Place the fasteners through the stator housing and the
 gearbox housing.
 f)  Loosen the stator assembly nut until brake slippage
 occurs at 400 pound-inches or less.
 g)  Tighten the stator assembly nut until brake slippage
 does not begin to occur until between 550 - 650
 pound-inches.
 h)  Use a pen to mark the relative position of the stator
 assembly nut to the stator housing.
