The lateral clearance must be not less than 0.5 inch.

The vertical clearance (measured parallel to the chain) must be not less than 1.5 inches.

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks, one for the removal and one for the installation of the column cutout switch. The procedure has these parts:

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6-2 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) STABILIZER TRIM CONT
2) STABILIZER TRIM ACTUATOR

Open the access door 1103.

(3)
Remove the column cutout switch:
(a)
Disconnect the rod assembly (1) from the switch arm (2).
(b)
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
(c)
Remove the mounting bolts (3).
