High Thrust Mode Test with Stall Warning System Tester
NOTE: If you use the stall warning system tester to do the High Thrust
____ Mode Test, do not do the section below, High Thrust Mode Test with DC Power Supplies.
NOTE: The ac voltage to make the necessary N1 and N2 values is
____ 2.5 |1.0V RMS. You will change the frequency of this ac voltage
_________ to change the N1 and N2 values.

Make sure that the stall warning system No. 1 operates in the high thrust mode:
(a)
Set the airspeed to 100 knots.
(b)
Adjust the tester to set the engine No. 1 N1 indicator to 80% (2070 |1 Hz).
(c)
Adjust the tester to set the engine No. 2 N2 indicator to 80% (1496 |1 Hz).
(d)
Turn the left AOA sensor counterclockwise (trailing edge up) until the captain's control column shaker operates.
(e)
Make sure that the shaker started to operate at 3.0 |1.0 degrees.
(f)
Turn the left AOA sensor clockwise to the range where the shaker stops.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT YOU DECREASE THE FUNCTION GENERATOR VOLTAGE
_______ AND FREQUENCY TO ZERO AFTER EACH CHECK OF SHAKER OPERATION. THERE CAN BE INTERNAL DAMAGE TO THE TESTER IF YOU ACCIDENTALLY USE A FREQUENCY OVER 10,000 HZ.
(g)
Adjust the tester to set N1 and N2 to 0% (0 Hz).
(h)
Increase the airspeed to 120 knots.
(i)
Adjust the tester to set the engine No. 1 N1 indicator to 120% (3105 |1 Hz).
(j)
Adjust the tester to set the engine No. 2 N2 indicator to 80% (1496 |1 Hz).
(k)
Turn the left AOA sensor counterclockwise until the captain's shaker operates.
(l)
Make sure that the shaker started to operate at 4.5 |0.7 degrees.
(m)
Turn the left AOA sensor clockwise to the range where the shaker stops.
(n)
Adjust the tester to set N1 and N2 to 0% (0 Hz).
