Install the Inboard Flap

If you will install used parts, do this task: "Inboard Flap Inspection" (Ref 27-51-04/601).

Make sure the rig pins are installed in the boom.

If you disconnected the aftflap drive system, do this task: "Inboard Trailing Edge Flap Adjustment" (Ref 27-51-04/501).

Install the inboard flap:
(a)
Remove the forward roller (2) from the side of the carriages.
(b)
Remove the cross beam (3) from the outboard carriage.
(c)
Install the sling to hold the flap.
(d)
Align the midflap carriages with the flap tracks.
(e)
Move the flap forward on the track until it is in the retracted position.
(f)
Install the foreflap toggle stop (5) on the top of each flap track (6).
(g)
Install the midflap carriage stop (7): 1) Put the carriage stop in the flap track. 2) Apply the corrosion preventive compound on the bolts. 3) Install the bolt and nut to attach the carriage stop to the
