Do this task: "Remove Elevator Hydraulic Systems A and B" (Ref 27-31-00/201).

Open the access door 3701.

WARNING: RELEASE THE CONNECTION SLOWLY AND LET THE PRESSURE DECREASE
_______ BEFORE YOU COMPLETELY REMOVE THE HYDRAULIC LINES. IF YOU DISCONNECT THE HYDRAULIC LINE WHEN IT HAS PRESSURE, A SPRAY OF HYDRAULIC FLUID CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.

Remove the eight hydraulic lines from the module.
(a)
Install caps and plugs on the open valve ports and the hydraulic lines.

Remove the module:
(a)
Remove the bolts, washers, nuts, and spacer that attach the module to the airplane structure.
(b)
Remove the module from the airplane.

Remove the upper and lower mounting bolts, washers, and nut.

Remove the locking bar from the module.
