THE HEAT OF THE VANE CAN BURN YOU.
CAUTION:_______DO NOT APPLY FORCE TO THE AOA SENSOR VANE. YOU CAN DAMAGE THE AOA SENSOR IF YOU APPLY FORCE TO THE VANE OR YOU SPIN THE SENSOR.

Remove the 8 mounting screws at the sensor.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor.

Move the sensor from side to side to loosen it.

Remove the sensor.

(1)
Carefully insert the sensor vane through the fairing from inside the control cabin.

(2)
Install the sensor with the gasket, the filler ring, and the 8 mounting screws.

Make sure that the face of sensor aligns with the fuselage outer skin by |0.02 inches or less.
(a)
If the sensor does not align with the skin, adjust the filler ring: 1) Remove laminations from the filler ring to make it thinner,
or replace the filler ring to make it thicker.
WARNING: DO NOT LET ADHESIVE GET ON THE ANGLE OF AIRFLOW
_______ SENSOR. ADHESIVE CAN JAM THE ANGLE OF AIRFLOW SENSOR.
2) If you install a new filler ring, bond it to the inner face of the skin doubler. 3) Make sure you apply a minimum of 0.0005 inch of adhesive to to the mating surfaces.
NOTE: You can possibly apply 0.010 to 0.030 inch of
____ adhesive to seal correctly.

Connect the electrical connector to the sensor.

Install the sidewall panel.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
