R850 Interlock Relay Installation

(1)
Install the relay on the bracket and connect the connector to the wiring loom.

(2)
Install the two screws that attach the relay bracket to the relay.

(3)
Connect the electrical connector to the R850 relay assembly.

(4)
Install the overhead panels in the main cabin between STA 867 and STA 887.

Restore the Airplane to its Usual Condition

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:

A. This procedure has this task:

A test of the R850 Horizontal Stabilizer Interlock Relay.
B.
The R850 Horizontal Stabilizer Interlock Relay is referred to as the interlock relay or relay in this procedure.

Prepare for the Test

(1)
Remove the sculpted ceiling panels at STA 867 and STA 887 on the right-hand side of the passenger cabin, do this task: "Sculptured Ceiling Panel Removal" (AMM 25-21-45/401).

(2)
Get access to the R850 relay at the following locations:
(a)
STA 867 and STA 887 on the right-hand side of the passenger cabin.
(3)
Do this task: "Supply Electrical Power" (AMM 24-22-00/201).

(4)
Make sure that the following switches are set to the NORM (or guarded) position:
(a)
The STAB TRIM MAIN ELEC (S272) cutout switch.
(b)
The Column Actuated Stabilizer Trim Override (S847) switch.
