Erase the fault memory for the stall warning computer:
NOTE: Use stall warning computer No. 1 if you replaced the left
____ AOA sensor. Use stall warning computer No. 2 if you replaced the right AOA sensor.
(a)
Push and hold the START BITE switch on the front of the stall warning computer.
(b)
Make sure that all lights on the computer come on for 2 to 4 seconds.
(c)
Look to see if one or more lights stays on after 4 seconds.
NOTE: If a light stays on after 4 seconds, the computer
____ memory holds a failure for that function. The light will go off after approximately 25 seconds.
(d) When one or more light starts to flash after 10 to 20 seconds, release the START BITE switch. The memory is now clear.

Do a BITE test of the stall warning computer:
(a)
Push and hold the START BITE switch on the front of the stall warning computer.
(b)
Make sure that all lights on the computer come on for 2 to 4 seconds.
(c)
Release the START BITE switch.

(d) Look to see if one or more lights stays on after 4 seconds.
NOTE:____ If a light stays on after 4 seconds, the computer memory holds a real-time failure for that function.
(5) S 864-024-001Make sure that the flaps are fully retracted.
(6) S 734-027-001Do a test of the AOA sensor: (a) Set the AOA sensor trailing edge to 0 |1°. (b) Open this circuit breaker: 1) P6 Panel a) LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTS (c) Make sure that the control column shaker does not operate. (d) Turn the AOA sensor to 4 |1° trailing edge up. (e) Make sure that the control column shaker operates. (f) Turn the AOA sensor to 20 |1° trailing edge down. (g) Make sure that the control column shaker does not operate. (h) Close this circuit breaker: 1) P6 Panel a) LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTS
(7) S 084-029-001Remove the test calibrator from the AOA sensor.
(8) S 714-053-001Do this task: "Angle of Airflow Sensor Test" (AMM 22-11-38/501).
(9) S 714-041-001Do this task: "Operational Test - Leading Edge Autoslat System" (AMM 27-83-00/501).

1. General_______
A. This subject contains two tasks, one for the removal and one for the installation of the angle of airflow (AOA) sensor.
B. The Angle of Airflow Sensor can also be identified as the Stall Warning Sensor or as the Sensor for the Sensor Instl - Stall Warning.
