TRAILING EDGE FLAP SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST
___________________________________________
 1.  General_______
 A. These are tasks in this procedure:
 (1)
There is an operational test of the trailing edge flaps

 (2)
There is a task for the adjustment of the trailing edge flaps

 (3)
There is a system test of the trailing edge flaps

 (4)
There is a functional test of the asymmetry system

 (5)
There is an operational test of the asymmetry system

 (6)
There are two tasks for the functional test of the flap load limiter system.

 TASK 27-51-00-715-001
 2.  Operational Test - Trailing Edge Flap System____________________________________________
 A. General
 (1)
During the operational test, you make sure the operation of the trailing edge flaps is satisfactory. The test permits you to monitor the functions of the flap system on the ground with hydraulic power supplied by the engine-driven pumps or the ground power. The operational test does not make sure the flaps are adjusted correctly. You must not use this test as an alternate for the system test.

 (2)
During the operational test you use the flap position indicators to find the flap positions. Thus, you must make sure the adjustment of the position indicator system for the trailing edge flaps is correct before you do the operational test.
