 STALL WARNING SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

 1.  General_______
 A.  This subject has one task. The task is a system test of the stall warning system.
 TASK 27-32-00-735-014-001
 2.  Stall Warning System Test_________________________
 A.  General

 (1)  
The Stall Warning System Test has these parts:

 (a)  
Preparation for Test

 (b)  
BITE Test

 (c)  
Stall Warning Operation Test

 (d)  
System Performance Test

 (e)  
Landing Gear Relay Test

 (f)  
Asymmetry Mode Test

 (g)  
High Thrust Mode Test

 (h)  
Speed Floor Test

 (2)  
Specific values of engine N1 and N2 are necessary for the High Thrust Mode Test. There are two alternative procedures to supply these N1 and N2 values:

 (a)  
The first procedure is to supply a signal which is equivalent to the output of the N1 and N2 tachometer sensors. These sensors are located on the engines. For this procedure, you will connect the stall warning system tester and two function generators at the electrical connectors of the engine N1 and N2 sensors. To change the N1 or the N2 value, you will change the frequency of the function generator output.

 (b)  
The second procedure is to supply a signal which is equivalent to the output of the N1 and N2 indicators. These indicators are located in the flight compartment. For this procedure, you will connect two variable dc power supplies at the electrical connectors of the N1 and N2 indicators. To change the N1 or the N2 value, you will change the dc voltage of the power supply output.
