 (i)  
Make sure you can easily install the rig pin F-1.

 1)  If you cannot easily install the rig pin, adjust the cam link again.

 (j)  
Tighten the two checknuts on the cam link.

 (k)  
Install the lockwire on the checknuts.

 (l)  
Make sure the threads on the rod end and the sleeve engage in the limits.

 (m)  
Remove the rig pin F-1.

 Supply the system B hydraulic power (AMM 27-51-00/201).

 Fully extend and retract the flaps through a minimum of two full cycles.

 Move the flap control lever to the UP detent to retract the flaps.

 (a)  
Stop for 2 minutes to permit the flaps to fully retract.

 Remove the system B hydraulic power (AMM 27-51-00/201).

Make sure the flaps are in the fully retracted position.

Make sure the angular clearance between the upstops on the ballscrew yoke and the ballscrew nut is 170 to 190 degrees (1/2 turn |10 degrees) (Fig. 505).

If the angular clearance is not in the tolerance adjust the flap transmissions:

 (a)  
If it is necessary to adjust the four transmissions on one wing: 1) Disconnect the torque tube from the flap power unit. 2) Turn the torque tube until the transmissions are in the

 correct position.

 (b)  
If it is necessary to adjust one transmission: 1) Disconnect the two torque tubes on the transmission.

 2)  Turn the input shaft for the transmission until the transmission is in the correct position.
 (c)  Connect the torque tubes:
 NOTE: Make sure you do not change the position of the
____ transmission or the flap power unit when you connect the torque tubes.
 1) Install the three screws to attach the coupling sleeve to the coupling. 2) Install the lockwire on the screws.
