 (1)  
Follow the procedure for electrostatic discharge sensitive devices (AMM 20-40-12/201).

Install the DSWC on the E1-1 shelf and tighten the knob.

 NOTE: Be careful not to cause damage to the electrical connectors

 on the back of the DSWC.

If you replaced DSWC 1, close these circuit breakers on the P18 panel:

 (a)  
STALL WARN 1 AC

 (b)  
STALL WARN 1 DC

If you replaced DSWC 2, close these circuit breakers on the P6 panel:

 (a)  
STALL WARN 2 AC

 (b)
STALL WARN 2 DCDSWC Test

 (1)  
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Do a BITE test of the DSWC:

 (a)  
Push and hold the START BITE switch on the front of the applicable DSWC:

 (b)  
Make sure that all lights on the computer come on for 2 to 4 seconds.

Release the START BITE switch.

 (d)  
Look to see if one or more lights stays on after 4 seconds.

 NOTE: If a light stays on after 4 seconds, the computer
____ memory holds a real-time failure for that function.

If a light stayed on in the BITE test, erase the DSWC fault memory (after you correct the specific failure):

 (a)  
Push and hold the START BITE switch.

 (b)  
Make sure that all lights on the DSWC come on for 2 to 4 seconds.

 (c)  
Look to see if one or more lights stays on after 4 seconds.

 NOTE: If a light stays on after 4 seconds, the computer memory
____ holds a failure for that function. The light will go off after approximately 25 seconds.
 (d)  
When one or more lights starts to flash after 10 to 20 seconds, release the START BITE switch. The memory is now clear.
