Make sure the stab trim cutout switch is set to the NORMAL position.

Make sure you close these circuit breakers:

 (a)  
P6-2 Circuit Breakers Panel
 1) ALT TE FLAP DRIVE AC
 2) FLAP
 3) STABILIZER TRIM ACTUATOR
 4) STABILIZER TRIM CONT

 (5)  Do a test of the limit switch S115:
 CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE ELECTRIC ACTUATOR HAS A MINIMUM OF 13
_______ MINUTES OFF FOR EVERY 2 MINUTES OPERATION. DAMAGE TO THE MOTOR CAN OCCUR IF THE MOTOR BECOMES TOO HOT.
 (a)  
Use the captain's stabilizer trim switches to move the stabilizer to the APL NOSE UP direction until the limit switch operates.

 NOTE:____This test uses the Captain's control wheel. The First Officer's control wheel may be used for this test if it is used for the whole test.

 (b)  
Use the Captain's stabilizer TRIM WHEEL to move the stabilizer to the leading edge down mechanical stops.

 (c)  
Turn the Captain's stabilizer TRIM WHEEL counter clockwise (when viewed from the Captain's seat) approximately 3 turns.

 (d)  
Move the STAB TRIM switches on the Captain's control wheel to the APL NOSE UP position, and hold them in this position. 1) Make sure that the stabilizer does not move. 2) Release the STAB TRIM switches from the APL NOSE UP

 position.

 (e)  
Move the STAB TRIM switches on the Captain's control wheel to the APL NOSE DOWN position, and hold them in this position. 1) Make sure that the stabilizer leading edge moves up (APL

 NOSE DOWN position). 2) Release the STAB TRIM switches from the APL NOSE DOWN position.

 (f)  
Move the stabilizer to approximately 12 units of trim.

 (g)  
Move the STAB TRIM switches on the Captain's control wheel to the APL NOSE UP position, and hold them in this position until the stabilizer stops. 1) Release the STAB TRIM switches from the APL NOSE UP


 position.

 2) Make sure the B dimension is 27.88 +0.10/-0.26 inches.
