Install the stabilizer trim control wheel on the control stand:
(a)
Install the stabilizer trim control wheel on the shaft with the handle 90 +/- 15 degrees apart from the handle on the other stabilizer trim control wheel.
(b)
Install (finger tight) the fastener that attaches the
stabilizer trim wheel to the splined shaft.
NOTE: If you are installing a nut, discard the old
____ nut and use a new nut when you install the trim wheel. The old bolt can be used again.
1) AIRPLANES WITH THE STABILIZER TRIM WHEEL TIE ROD NUT; Torque the nut to 60 - 70 lb-in (6.8 - 7.9 N-m).
NOTE: Two tie rod threads need to show after torquing
____ the nut. 2) AIRPLANES WITH THE STABILIZER TRIM WHEEL BOLT; Torque the bolt to 150 - 170 lb-in (17.0 - 19.2 N-m).

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks, one for the removal and one for the installation of the stabilizer trim electric actuator or primary stabilizer trim actuator (which is referred to as the actuator). The procedure has these parts:

The removal of the actuator
(2)
The installation of the actuator
(3)
An operational test of the actuator.

Open the access door 3701.

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
AIRPLANES WITH PRIMARY STABILIZER TRIM ACTUATOR; P18-0 Circuit Breaker Panel 1) AUTOPILOT STABILIZER TRIM SERVO

(3)
Remove the actuator:
(a)
Remove electrical connector(s) from the actuator.
