Make sure that the ac voltmeter shows 115 | 5 volts.
(c)
Make sure that the frequency shows 400 | 5 Hz.

Look at the load on the two engine generators.
(a)
Look at the two engine generator ammeters.
(b)
Turn the left switch S2 on the M400 to A, then B, then C.
(c)
Make sure that the two engine generator ammeters show loads for all three switch positions.
(d)
Turn the left switch S2 to the B position.
Q.
Do a Test of the Control Circuits for the Engine Generators.

(1) Push the GEN 2 switch to OFF.
(a) Make sure that the BUS OFF No. 2 and GEN OFF BUS No. 2 lights come on.

(2) Push the BUS TRANS switch to OFF.
(a) Make sure that the TRANSFER BUS OFF No. 2 light comes on.

(3) Push the GEN 2 switch to ON.
(a) Make sure that these lights go off:
1) GEN OFF BUS No. 2
2) BUS OFF No. 2
3) TRANSFER BUS OFF No. 2

(4) Push the GEN 1 switch to OFF.
(a) Make sure that these lights come on:
1) GEN OFF BUS No. 1
2) BUS OFF No. 1
3) TRANSFER BUS OFF No. 1

(5) Push the BUS TRANS switch to AUTO.
(a) Make sure that the TRANSFER BUS OFF No. 1 light goes off.

Push the GEN 1 switch to ON.

Do a Power Transfer from the Engine Generators to the External Power.

Do a Power Transfer from the External Power to the Engine Generators.

(1) Push the GEN 1 switch to ON.
(a) Make sure that the GEN OFF BUS No. 1 light goes off.

Make sure that the GEN OFF BUS No. 2 light goes off.Do a Power Transfer from the Engine Generators to the APU Generator.

Push the APU GEN No. 1 switch to ON.

Make sure that the GEN OFF BUS No. 1 light comes on.
(b)
Make sure that the APU GEN OFF BUS light goes off.

Remove power from the lights, galleys, air conditioning, and fuel boost pumps.

Push the HYD PUMPS - ELEC 1 and 2 switches to OFF.

Push the BAT switch to OFF.

WARNING: BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE EXTERNAL POWER CABLE, MAKE SURE THAT IT
_______ IS NOT ENERGIZED. IF THE EXTERNAL POWER CABLE IS ENERGIZED WHEN YOU REMOVE IT, ELECTRICAL ARCS AND SHOCK CAN OCCUR. ELECTRICAL SHOCK CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS. ELECTRICAL ARCS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Remove power from the external power cable.
