 (4)  Put the DC meter switch, on the P5-13 panel, to the BAT position.
 (a)  Make sure the dc voltmeter shows approximately 24 volts.

 (5)  Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
 (a)  On the P6-4 Load Control Center:
 1) C809, BAT CHARGER
 2) C842, ALT BAT CHARGER

 (6)  Remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag from the BATTERY switch.
 (a)  Supply electrical power to charge the battery
 (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Do this task: "Charge Mode Test" in the Operation Test (AMM 24-31-21/501).

 (8)  
Set the clock GMT and DATE (AMM 31-25-00/501).

 (9)  
Remove electrical power, if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).
