1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks for the static inverter.
(1)
The removal of the static inverter.
(2)
The installation of the static inverter.
B.
The static inverter is on the E3-1 rack in the E/E equipment compartment.

Open this circuit breaker and install a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) C30, Inverter Power, (SSM 24-34-11)

Get access to the static inverter on the E3-1 rack.
(2)
Before you touch the static inverter, refer to (AMM 20-40-12/201).
(3)
Remove the static inverter (AMM 20-10-07/201).

Get access to the E3-1 rack.

Before you touch the static inverter, refer to (AMM 20-40-12/201).

Install the static inverter (AMM 20-10-07/201).

Close this circuit breaker and remove DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) C30, Inverter Power, (SSM 24-34-11)

(5) Do a test of the static inverter.
(a)
Make sure that the dc and standby power system circuit breakers on the J9, P6-4 , P6-5, and P6-6 panels are closed.
(b)
Supply external power (Ref 24-22-00/201).
(c)
Open the STANDBY POWER AUTO CONT circuit breaker on the P6-5 panel. 1) Make sure that the STANDBY POWER OFF light is off. 2) Make sure that the ac meter switch is in the STBY PWR
position.
a) Make sure that the AC voltmeter shows 115 |5 volts.
b) Make sure that the frequency meter shows 400 |5 Hz.
(d)
Turn the DC meters switch to BAT BUS. 1) Make sure that the DC voltmeter shows 26 |4 volts.
(e)
Close the STANDBY POWER AUTO CONT circuit breaker on the P6-5 panel.
(f)
Open the STBY BUS PWR circuit breaker on the P6-4 panel. 1) Make sure that the ac voltmeter shows zero volts. 2) Make sure that in approximately two seconds the ac
