CAUTION:_______MAKE SURE THE VSCF AREA IS ALWAYS CLEAN. A DIRTY SYSTEM CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE VSCF.
(1) Install the sight glass.
(a)
Install the new gasket to the sight gauge cover.
(b)
Apply a thin layer of grease to the two sides of the gaskets.
(c)
Install the two gaskets (one on each side) on the sight glass.
(d)
Install the gaskets, glass and sight gauge cover on the VSCF.
(e)
Install the screws into the sight gauge cover.
(f)
Tighten the screws to 9-11 pound-inches.

(2) Fill the VSCF with oil (AMM 12-13-21/301).
E. Examine the sight glass installation for leaks.
