 TASK 24-41-00-715-004
 1.  AC External Power - Operational Test____________________________________
 A. General
 (1)  
This task will make sure that the most important parts of the external power system operate correctly. The most important parts of the external power system are:

 (a)  
The bus protection panel (BPP) G7,

 (b)  
The external power receptacle,

 (c)  
The external power contactors C891 and C892,

 (d)  
The external power relay R348,

 (e)  
The ground service relay R6,

 (f)  
The GRD PWR switch S1,

 (g)  
And the GROUND SERVICE switch S12.

 

 B.
Standard Tools and Equipment

 (1)
External Power Supply - 115/200 volts ac, 3-phase, 400 Hz

Prepare for the Operational Test.

 S 865-012
 (1)  Make sure that no electrical power is on the airplane (Ref 24-22-00/201).
 (a)  
Make sure that the GRD PWR, GEN, and APU GEN switches on the P5-4 panel are in the OFF position.

 (b)  
Make sure that the GROUND SERVICE switch on the P13 forward attendant's panel is in the OFF position.

 (c)  
Make sure that the BAT switch on the P5-13 panel is in the OFF position.

P6-12 panel

 (6)  Turn the DC meters switch on the P5-13 panel to BAT.
 (a)  Make sure the DC voltmeter shows 24 | 4 volts.
