 STANDBY POWER SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains these tasks:
 (1)  
The operational test of the standby power system

 (2)  
Operational test of the standby power system (1 mechanic).

 (3)  
The system test of the standby power system.

 B.  
The operational tests will make sure that these components of the standby power system operate correctly:

 (1)  
The static inverter

 (2)  
The standby power relays (R37 and R328)

 (3)  
The ac voltage sensor

 (4)  
The standby power switch.

 C.  
The system test will make sure that all of the components in the standby power system operate correctly. Use this test after you replace a component or do other maintenance on the standby power system.

 D.  
You must do the system test after you replace a component or do other maintenance to the standby power system.

 2.  Standby Power System - Operational Test_______________________________________
 A.  General
 (1)  
This test uses the GROUND SENSING test switch to put the airplane in the air mode. This makes sure the battery will automatically supply power to the standby buses if the ac buses have no power.
