C. Procedure
S 414-004
(1) Do these steps to install the module:
(a)
Remove the protective covers from the electrical connectors.
(b)
Examine the electrical connectors for bent or broken pins, dirt and damage. 1) Clean or repair the electrical connectors if it is
necessary.
(c)
Connect the electrical connectors to the electrical module assembly.
CAUTION:_______CAREFULLY INSTALL THE MODULE INTO THE OVERHEAD PANEL. IF YOU DO NOT, DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLES AT THE REAR OF THE MODULE CAN OCCUR.
(d)
Put the module carefully into position in the overhead panel.
(e)
Tighten the quarter turn fasteners on the module.
D. Installation Test of the AC System Generator and APU Module
S 764-005
(1) Do this task:
(a) AC Generation System test (AMM 24-21-00/501).
E. Put the Airplane Back to its Usual Condition
S 864-009
(1) Remove electrical power, if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

The Generator Drive and Standby Power Module, P5-5, is located on the P5 Overhead Panel in the flight compartment.

(1) Do these steps to remove the module:
(a) Loosen the quarter turn fasteners on the module.
NOTE: Hold the module when you loosen the quarter turn
____ fasteners so that the module does not fall.
CAUTION:_______CAREFULLY REMOVE THE MODULE FROM THE OVERHEAD PANEL. IF YOU DO NOT, DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL CABLES AT THE REAR OF THE MODULE CAN OCCUR.
(b)
Pull the module carefully out from the overhead panel to get access to the electrical connectors.
(c)
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the module.
(d)
Put protective covers on the electrical connectors.
