 (1)  
Remove the VSCF (1, Fig. 203) (AMM 24-11-11/401).

Remove the necessary parts from the VSCF (1):

 (a)  Remove the blast cover adapter (21): 1) Remove the five screws (19) and washers (20).

 2) Remove the blast cover adapter (21).
 (b)  Remove the parts from the oil inlet port of the VSCF:
 NOTE: You will keep the parts installed in the oil outlet port
____ for the subsequent installation of the VSCF.
 1) Remove the elbow (17).
 2) Remove the nut (16).
 3) Remove the retainer (15).
 4) Remove the O-ring (14) and discard it.
