 (b)  Make sure that the DC BUS PWR ON - NO. 2 light comes on.
 S 865-114
 (47) Turn the dc meter switch to the TR 2 position.
 (a)  
Make sure that the voltmeter shows 22 to 30 volts dc.

 (b)  
Make sure that the ammeter shows that there is a load.

 (48) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
 (a)  P6-4 Panel
 1) C1065, DC BUS 1
 2) C1066, DC BUS 2

 (49) Push the switch S2 on the M238 to the INDICATE position.
 (a)  Make sure that the DC BUS PWR ON - NO. 1 and NO. 2 lights come on.

 (50) Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
 (a)  P6-4 Panel
 1) C807, TR UNITS NO. 2

 Push the switch S2 on the M238 to the INDICATE position.

Make sure that the DC BUS PWR ON - NO. 1 light is off.

 (b)  
Make sure that the DC BUS PWR ON - NO. 2 light is off.

 Make sure that the voltmeter shows 0 volts.

 (53)
 Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:

 (a)  
P6-4 Panel
 1) C808, TR UNITS NO. 3


 (b)  
Push the switch S2 on the M238 to the INDICATE position. 1) Make sure that the DC BUS PWR ON - NO. 1 light comes on.

 (c)  Make sure that the dc voltmeter shows 22 to 30 volts dc for these positions on the dc meter switch: 1) TR 1 2) TR 2 3) TR 3

 Set the BUS TRANSFER switch to the OFF position.

 Push the switch S2 on the M238 to the INDICATE position.


 (a) Make sure that the DC BUS PWR ON - NO. 1 light is off.
 F. Do a test of the External Power DC

 (1)  Open the BATTERY CHARGER (C142) circuit breaker on the J9 battery shield panel and attach the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag.

 WARNING:  MAKE SURE BATTERY CONNECTOR IS ISOLATED FROM AIRPLANE STRUCTURE. WHEN EXTERNAL POWER IS APPLIED TO THE RECEPTACLE, POWER WILL BE PRESENT AT BATTERY CONNECTOR. THE ELECTRICAL SHOCK CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE.
 (2)  Disconnect the connector D44 from the battery.
 (a)  Isolate the connector from the airplane structure.

Connect the external dc power to the battery control shield per placard instructions.

 (4)  
Make sure the EXTERNAL POWER DC circuit breaker on the J9 panel is closed.

Connect the connector D44 to the battery.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close the BATTERY CHARGER (C142) circuit breaker on the J9 panel.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close all the circuit breakers on these panels:
