 (a)  Loosen the nuts on the APU turbine studs.
NOTE: Keep a clearance of approximately 1/2 inch between the
____ APU turbine flange and the bottom of the nuts.
 (b)
Lubricate the generator spline with approximately 1/2 cubic inches of lubricant.

 (c)
Put the generator into its position on support until the generator flange holes and the studs on the APU turbine align.

 (d)
Make sure that the terminal blocks are on the left side (when generator is viewed from the free end).

 (e)
Make sure that the ground bus bar will be vertical.

CAUTION: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU CONNECT THE MALE AND FEMALE SPLINES.
_______ THE GENERATOR CAN HIT THE TURBINE AND CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE.
 (f)
Connect the generator to the APU turbine splines.

 (g)
Move the generator slotted holes to the turbine flange studs.

NOTE: Keep the holes and the studs aligned.
____
 (h)
Turn the generator clockwise (viewed from the free end) until the stud shanks go into the slots in the generator mounting flange.
