(2) S 014-003Open the fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/201).
(3) S 034-004Remove the brackets that isolate the hydraulic tubes from the generator.
NOTE:____ Keep the hydraulic tubes attached to the brackets.
(4) S 034-005Remove the clamp block for the generator leads: (a) Remove the two fasteners that attach the clamp block to the collector ring. (b) Remove the clamp block from the collector ring.
(5) S 034-006Disconnect the electrical leads from the generator: (a) Remove the covers on the generator and exciter terminals. (b) Put an identification tag on each electrical lead on the generator terminals and the exciter terminals. (c) Remove all electrical leads from the generator terminal studs and the exciter terminal studs.
(6) S 034-007Remove the cooling-air collector ring: (a) Remove the nuts from the tee-bolts on the ring. (b) Remove the ring from the generator.
(7) S 034-008Remove the cooling-air inlet duct from the air blast connector cap: (a) Remove the tube clamp from the cooling-air inlet duct.

Remove the clamps near the air blast connector cap.
(c)
Remove the duct from the cap.

(8) Loosen each generator mounting nut (12 locations) around the generator flange approximately 1/2-inch.
