(d) Examine the full open dimension (distance from the buttock plane zero to the door midfold hinge) at the front end of the door (View A, Fig. 505).
NOTE: Hang a plumb bob at point E and Y (Views B and C,
____ Fig. 505) to get the buttock plane zero. The airplane must have the usual load distribution, the equal tire and the shock strut inflation. Put a floor mark label on the floor below each plumb bob point. Write a line between the two points.
(e) If you can not keep the full open door dimension, adjust the serrated fitting on the inboard door. 1) Remove the rigging pin (WD-3 LH, WD-4 RH). 2) Adjust the serrated fitting on the inboard door until you
get the dimension (View A, Fig. 505) with the installation of the rigging pin (WD-1 LH, WD-2 RH). 3) Tighten 4 bolts on the serrated fitting.

Adjust the strike board as follows:
(a)
Install the rigging pin (WD-1 LH, WD-2 RH) at point A through two sides of the link carrier and the link assembly (Fig. 502).
(b)
Disconnect the linkage rod of the sequence valve from the rod end fitting at point B.
(c)
Loosen the bolts and adjust the hinge fitting of the strike board in a longitudinal direction to get 0.60 to 0.70-inch dimension (View A-A, Fig. 508).
(d)
Adjust the hinge fitting vertically to get 13.35 inches maximum and 1.55 inches minimum dimension (View B-B, Fig. 508).
(e)
If you can not get the 13.35 inch maximum dimension, continue as follows: 1) Remove the rigging pin. 2) Loosen 4 bolts that attach the serrated bracket (View B,
Fig. 502) on the inboard door to get the door open dimension (near to the inboard limit as shown View A, Fig. 505).
3) Adjust the hinge fitting vertically to get 13.35 inches maximum and 1.55 inches minimum dimension (View B-B, Fig. 508). a) Make sure that you can install the rigging pin freely.
4) Tighten 4 bolts that attach the serrated bracket.
CAUTION: REMOVE THE RIGGING PIN WITH THE DOOR CONNECTED.
_______ FAILURE TO DO SO WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SEQUENCE VALVE MECHANISM IF THE DOOR OPERATES.
5) Connect the linkage rod and tighten the nut on the linkage rod to 25 - 50 pound-inches.

6) Tighten the hinge fitting bolts for the strike board and remove the rigging pin.
CAUTION:_______REMOVE THE RIGGING PIN WITH THE DOOR CONNECTED. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SEQUENCE VALVE MECHANISM IF THE DOOR OPERATES.
(f)
If you get 13.35 inches maximum dimension, connect the linkage rod.
(g)
Tighten the nut on the linkage rod to 25 - 50 pound-inches.
(h)
Tighten the hinge fitting bolts for the strike board and remove the rigging pin.

(3) Pressurize the hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

_______ OPERATION PATHS. DO NOT MOVE THE DOORS TOO QUICKLY. IT CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Operate the release handle to close and open the wheel well doors for the wing and body landing gears.

Remove the pressure from hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Do a check of the rigging pin installation, the door open dimension and of the strike board dimensions.
(a)
Do a check for the installation of the rigging pin (WD-1 LH, WD-2 RH) at point A (Fig. 502).
