WARNING:_______ YOU MUST HOLD THE SHOCK STRUT IN A VERTICAL POSITION
WHEN THE LANDING GEAR IS REMOVED FROM THE AIRPLANE. THE SHOCK
STRUT CAN FALL OVER IF IT IS NOT HELD VERTICALLY. THIS CAN
CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Remove the body gear from the airplane (AMM 32-13-01/401).
NOTE: You can let the gear stay in the transportation and handling
____ dolly, or you can lift it to an adequate workstand with the overhead mechanical equipment.

Loosen the brackets that hold the conduit and the junction box to the shock strut.

Lower the wiring harness to the floor, but leave it connected to the steering mechanism and wheel truck.

(4)
Remove the hydraulic lines from the shock strut, and seal the lines and fittings with caps.
NOTE: You can leave the hydraulic lines connected to the wheel
