Install the bungee restraining tool on the downlock bungee (1).

Disconnect the downlock bungee (1) from the lower jury strut (AMM 32-32-16/401).

Hold the downlock bungee away from the lower jury strut.

Disconnect the downlock actuator (4) from the lower jury strut (AMM 32-32-15/401).

Attach the downlock actuator to the side strut.

Remove the apex bolt (5) for the jury strut.

Keep the ground locks installed to let the lower jury strut stay in its position.

THE LOWER SIDE STRUT WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 80 POUNDS. FAILURE TO USE THE CORRECT TOOL CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO THE PARTS.

Hold the lower jury strut.
