Align the screw holes in the relief valve with the holes in the actuator.

Install the relief valve to the actuator with bolts and lockwire.

Clean and apply a bead of the sealant around the joint between the valve and the actuator body.

Pressurize the hydraulic system No. 4 (Ref 29-11-00/201).

Do a check on the hydraulic connections for leaks.

Bleed the actuator by opening the bleed valve.

Let the fluid to flow from the valve outlet approximately 1 pint or more if bubbles remains in the system.

Tighten the bleed valve and the lockwire.

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the charging valve and the seal on the shock strut of the wheel landing gear.
(2)
The installation of the charging valve and the seal on the shock strut of the wing landing gear.
B.
The charging valve is installed on the inboard side of the shock strut below the trunnion. Access to the charging valve is through the upper bulkhead on top of the shock strut.
