Prepare for the Adjustment

 (1) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Lift the airplane on jacks until the wheels are off the ground (AMM 07-11-01/201).

Adjust the Drag Brace Pin


 S 022-019
 (1)  
Remove the uplock roller bolt and the roller assembly, Wing Landing Gear Uplock Roller Removal (AMM 32-11-13/201).

 S 032-020

 (2)  
Remove the lockbolt (1) and the special nut (4) from the pin assembly (2) on the drag brace.

 (a)  
Remove the pin assembly (2) on the drag brace.


 NOTE: The pin, lube retainer, and O-rings from the shock strut
____ make the pin assembly on the drag brace.

 CAUTION: YOU MUST KEEP A MINIMUM THICKNESS OF 0.109 INCHES TO THE
_______ FLANGE. TOO MUCH CLEARANCE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ROLLER ASSEMBLY.
 (3)  
Grind the bushing flange (3) slowly with a file until the uplock roller can turn.

 (4)  
Install the pin assembly (2) on the drag brace.

Install the uplock roller bolt and the roller assembly, Wing Landing Gear Uplock Roller Installation (AMM 32-11-13/201).
