Disconnect the walking beams and retract the actuator from the support bolt (Ref Walking Beam-to-Hanger Removal).

Examine the worn limits of the bushings, the bolt, the bearing, the walking beam and the support.
(a)
Measure the parts if it is necessary and compare the measured dimensions to the limit dimensions.
(b)
If the part is not in the tolerance, repair or replace it when it is necessary.

(3) Install the walking beam and the actuator to the walking beam support (Ref Walking Beam-to-Hanger Installation).

WALKING BEAM SUPPORT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General

A. This procedure has two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the walking beam support for the wing landing gear (referred to as the walking beam support).
(2)
The installation of the walking beam support.
B.
The walking beam support (hanger) holds the outboard ends of the walking beams and of the wing gear actuator to the airplane structure. The bolt

is threaded at each end to help the removal and the installation. You must remove it as an assembly with the walking beam support (hanger).
