 Lower the axle jacks until only the sling hold the weight of truck.

 Disconnect the lower torsion link from the truck (AMM 32-11-14/401).

 (13) Remove the self-locking nut, the washer and the bolt (11) to remove the truck positioning universal (10) from the truck.
 NOTE: Hold the truck positioning universal (10) to the torsion link

 Use the spanner wrench to remove the nut to remove the lockbolt, the nut and the washer which has splines.

 Move the jacks until the pivot bolt (6) is free and you can remove it easily.
