 (b)  Use the solvent to clean the area on the truck where you will install clamp B.
 NOTE: Use a clean dry cloth to wipe the truck dry.

 1)  Apply aluminized epoxy primer with a brush to the area on the truck which will contact clamp B, except the area that is covered by the bumper plate.
 (c)  Install three wraps of tape around the truck beam where clamp B will be installed.
 NOTE: Make an approximately 1-inch overlap on the ends of the
____
 tape.

 (d)  Install the bumper on clamp B with four bolts, four washers, and four nuts.

 (e)  
Apply sealant with a brush to the area on the truck which will contact the bumper plate immediately before you install the clamp B.

 (f)  
Install clamp B on the truck as shown (Fig. 402).

 NOTE: Make sure the downward slope of the bumper is facing
____
 forward.

 1)  Make sure the bumper is at the correct distance from the end of the truck beam (View A, Fig. 402).
 2)  Make sure that the centerline of the bumper and the centerline of the truck align within 0.10 inch (View A-A, Fig. 402).
 (g)  Make sure the bumper plate-to-truck beam dimension is 0.36 inch or less (View B, Fig. 402): 1) Loosen or remove the 4 nuts that attach the bumper to the
 bumper plate. 2) Put the T-bolt trunnion as near to the bumper pad as possible. 3) Apply a vertical force down on the top of the bumper of
 approximately 100 pounds. 4) Tighten clamp B while you apply the vertical force. 5) Remove the force and examine the dimension limit as shown. 6) Tighten the four nuts.

 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO REMOVE THE
_______ DOOR LOCKS FROM THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (3)  
Do this task: "Removal of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Do this task: "Removal of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).
