Disconnect the landing gear wire bundle from the panel in the connection box.
(c)
Disconnect the electrical conduit from the connection box and conduit clamp. 1) Tie the conduit end to the side brace.

NOTE: Both the inboard and outboard doors can be removed to

provide clearance.

WARNING:_______THE ACTUATOR WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 136 POUNDS. MAKE SURE THE ACTUATOR IS ADEQUATELY RESTRAINED TO AVOID INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND DAMAGE TO PARTS.
(8) Disconnect the lower end of the retract actuator from the shock strut (AMM 32-33-01/401).
NOTE: Compress the actuator rod and tie it securely with the sling

to avoid its interference with the gear removal.

Install the bungee restraining tool on the downlock bungee. S 034-018

Disconnect the drag strut universal from the shock strut (AMM 32-13-07/201).
WARNING:_______ THE DRAG STRUT COMPONENT ASSEMBLY WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 330
POUNDS. THE BUNGEE IS SPRING LOADED. MAKE THE SURE PARTS ARE
ADEQUATELY SUPPORTED BEFORE REMOVING THE BOLT OR INJURY TO
PERSONNEL OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT MAY RESULT.
NOTE: Tie the drag strut assembly and universal to the airplane
____ structure to avoid their interference with gear removal.

Remove the keel beam access panel (193U) under the inboard trunnion support assembly.

Remove the body landing gear (24) (Fig. 402).
(a)
Remove the four bolts (9) which hold the inboard trunnion bearing cap (7), thus allowing the removal of the cap, lower bushing half (10) and bearing retention key (6).
NOTE: Note the position of the cap, bushings and retention key
____ to facilitate their reinstallation.
(b)
Hold the nut (2) with the special tool if it is necessary.
