WING GEAR WALKING BEAM - INSPECTION/CHECK

1. General_______
A. The walking beam inspection measures the fit of the attach assemblies for the walking beam and the shock strut connection.
B. You must disconnect the walking beam from the shock strut to do the inspection.

Procedure
S 226-002
(1)
Disconnect the walking beam from the shock strut (Ref 32-11-15/401).
S 226-003
(2)
Make a check of the worn limits of the attach points of the walking beam.
(a)
Measure the parts if it is necessary and compare the measured dimensions to the limit dimensions.
(b)
If the part is not in the tolerance, repair or replace it if it is necessary.
(3)
Install the walking beam on the shock strut (Ref 32-11-15/401).
