(2) S 226-003Examine the worn area limits of the universal pin assemblies and the bearings. (a) Measure the parts when it is necessary and compare the measured dimensions to the limit dimensions. (b) If the part is not in the tolerance, repair or replace the parts if it is necessary.
(3) S 426-004Install the universal and the pin assemblies (Ref 32-11-22/401).

WING LANDING GEAR TRUCK MECHANICAL LOCK - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the truck mechanical lock on the wing landing gear.
(2)
The installation of the truck mechanical lock on the wing landing gear.
B.
The truck mechanical lock is installed on the inboard side of the shock strut on the wing landing gear. The removal and the installation procedures are the same for the two mechanical locks.

(1) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (Ref 09-11-00/201).

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (Ref 32-00-30/201).
