_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS WILL CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Supply the system No. 1 with hydraulic power (AMM 29-11-00/201).
(a)
Open the actuator bleed valve to start the truck positioning actuator on the strut.
(b)
Permit approximately 1 pint of fluid to flow from the valve outlet.
(c)
Permit more fluid to flow if the bubbles stay in the system.
(d)
Tighten the bleed valve and the lockwire.

Put a tab label on the shock strut.
(a)
The label shows " ONE SET SPARE SEALS USED" if there is one set of spare seals in the shock strut.

The label shows "TWO SETS OF SPARE SEALS USED" if there are no more spare seals in the shock strut.
