 WING GEAR WALKING BEAM - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure has two tasks:
 (1)  
The removal of the walking beam for the wing gear (referred to as the walking beam).

 (2)  
The installation of the walking beam.

 B.  
The walking beam is attached at two locations. The inboard end of the walking beam is attached to the top of the shock. The outboard end is attached to the walking beam support and the retract actuator. The removal and the installation procedures apply to the two walking beams.

 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY INSTALL THE GROUND LOCKS IN ALL LANDING
_______ GEAR. AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (1) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).
