 WING LANDING GEAR UPLOCK ROLLER - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure contains three tasks:
 (1)  
The removal of the uplock roller on the wing landing gear.

 (2)  
The installation of the uplock roller on the wing landing gear.

 (3)  
The adjustment of the drag brace pin on the wing landing gear to let the uplock roller to turn.

 B.  
The uplock roller on the wing landing gear is attached to the forward of the drag brace pin (which is on the lower side of the strut spindle). The maintenance procedure is the same for the two sides.

 C.  
You must remove the uplock roller bolt and assembly of the uplock roller for the removal.

 D.  
You must install the uplock roller bolt and assembly of the uplock roller for the installation.

 E.  
Examine the roller to make sure it moves freely.

_______ GEAR. AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (1) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).
