 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE DOOR
_______ OPERATION PATHS. DO NOT MOVE THE DOORS TOO QUICKLY. IT CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Operate the release handle to open the wheel well doors for the wing and body landing gears.

Adjust the outboard door for the shock strut:

 (a)  
Adjust the linkage rod of the outboard shock strut door (View C, Fig. 506) until the outboard door aligns with the wing panels surface (View A-A and B-B Fig. 506).


 NOTE: Make sure you can see the rod end threads through
____ the inspection hole for the linkage rod.
 (b)  Tighten the linkage rod nut to 660 - 980 pound-inches. Install safety wire.
 NOTE: Do not adjust the door hinge halves. The door hinge
____ positions have been made in the factory and are not necessary to change.
 (c)  Align the forward edge of the door with the adjacent wing panel surface by adjusting the linkage rods of the fixed trailing edge ( Detail D, Fig.506 Sheet 2 ).

Pressurize the hydraulic system No. 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).
